Born to a drummer mom, Stee was destined for rhythm. As a child, he transformed pots and pans into drums, and by 11, he had won the Swiss National Drummer Competition three times. He formed his first kids' rock band soon after and became the runner-up in a European drummer competition, solidifying his dream of pursuing music professionally. At 16, he joined Switzerland’s music college WIAM to study music.
Over the years, Stee performed with various bands before forming Zibbz in 2008 with his sister Coco. Together, they released two top-20 albums, hosted their own TV show, toured extensively, and represented Switzerland at Eurovision 2018. The duo has since written and composed hundreds of songs, continuing to perform live.
In addition to his work with Zibbz, Stee has established himself as a sought-after producer and composer, collaborating with artists like Fergie, G-Nash, Luca Hänni, and many more. After nearly a decade in Los Angeles, he is now based in Zurich, where he works as a freelance producer and session drummer at Powerplay Studios, alongside performing live shows.
Urs Wiesendanger began playing piano at just three years old. Inspired by drummer Pierre Favre, he later took up drums, initially pursuing a career as a jazz drummer. At only 12, he toured with the Swiss Television Big Band and performed with his older brother, jazz pianist Chris Wiesendanger, in Swiss jazz clubs.
In 1984, Urs debuted as a pop songwriter and began producing music, a path heavily influenced by George Duke’s work. Over the years, he collaborated with renowned artists like DJ Bobo, Nubya, Andy Snitzer, and Laskaar, as well as international stars such as Kenny G, Snoop Dogg, Eric Benét, and Michael Sembello. During extended stays in the U.S., he worked with legends like Jeff Lorber, Dave Koz, and Warren Wiebe.
In 2018, his album Breakfast in Paris won the Akademia Award for Best Pop Song, featuring contributions from Jay Graydon and Laura Story. Beyond music production, Urs composes film scores, including for projects like Stefanie’s Present and Swiss TV documentaries. He also created music for DJ Bobo’s videos Believe, Life Goes On, and Get on Upfrom the Mystorial album.
